Cape Kudu Hotel, Koh Yao Noi, a select member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), the latest addition to the Cape & Kantary family, has appointed Mr. Timo Kuenzli as its General Manager, with effect from 1st January, 2017.
Kuenzli, a Swiss national with competent conversation skills in German, French and English, began his career in the hospitality field at the Bad Horn Hotel & Spa in Switzerland. After that he decided to enrol at the Belvoirpark Hospitality Management School in Zürich and received a Restaurateur/Hotelier Diploma, then continued his professional development at the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois, a superior 5-star hotel located in Basel, as Front Office Supervisor and quickly be promoted to Front Office Manager. Before joining Cape & Kantary Hotels he further received a Hospitality Leadership Diploma at the renowned Academy of Hotel Excellence in Switzerland and later gained oversea experience at a Starwood Hotel in Shanghai, China.
Kuenzli began his current tenure at Cape & Kantary Hotels as the Guest Relations Manager at Cape Nidhra Hotel, Hua Hin in 2014 and was recently promoted to the position of Resident Manager at Cape House, Bangkok, and then transferred to the same position to Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai in late-2015 before being appointed as General Manager at Cape Kudu Hotel, Koh Yao Noi, Phang-Nga province.
