Gyproc hosts U-Lead campus tour to build strong relations with new generation of young architects and designers


Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the manufacturer of gypsum innovations over 45 years and of the leading brand “Gyproc,” hosted its U-Lead campus tour to create brand awareness and build relationships with well-known university faculties of Architecture. Gyproc’s U-Lead project allows architecture and design students to develop a good understanding of the company’s history, and of the strong reputation Saint-Gobain enjoys globally. Furthermore, it will enable students and teachers to develop a complete understanding of Gyproc’s gypsum innovations in Thailand, to fulfil their sustainable specification needs going forward. 

Richard Juggery, Managing Director of Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, said, “This activity is a good channel for Gyproc to connect and build excellent relationships with our target group, namely teachers and students in architecture and design. This is the new generation of architects who will inspire and visualize the constructed world of tomorrow. The U-Lead campus tour started from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Kasetsart University and finished at Sripatum University. The program received strong levels of participation, support and approval by all of the students involved.

U-Lead features brand and project demonstrations, notably a Demonstration Wall & Ceiling installation showing various construction system models. The aim is to allow students to get a clear picture of the products, how they are integrated and what can be achieved with Gyproc’s market-leading solutions such as its dry wall system and ultra-steel products. Gyproc will also invite the students to join an activity hosted on the Gyproc mobile application and Facebook Gyproc Thailand page, a simple Q&A game to receive Gyproc branded rewards. Gyproc’s digital marketing platforms provide interactive services for a convenient way to receive company news updates and information about products and systems.
