JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa hosts numerous events for associates such as “To The Journey” day with Marriott International. Executive associate in senior leadership role, Matthias Y. Sutter, General Manager shares his own career journeys to inspire others to reach their own career destinations. The associates also had an opportunity to learn more about Marriott culture and history throughout the fun games and activities after the hotel tour.
JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa has been taking an active role in working with universities to offer students to internships, voyage or direct placement opportunities and open up the chance to attract young talent and help them grow their hospitality careers. On May 4, the 7 representative culinary teams of young and talented chefs from JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, Marriott Resort Phuket Merlin Beach, Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, The Naka Island Resort & Spa Phuket, Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa and The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa Phuket will showcase their kitchen skill and creativity at the culinary challenge. Mr. Norraphat Plodthong, Phuket Governor and Miss Kanokkrittika Kritwutthikorn, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Phuket Office will be the guests of honour and be part of the judge panel on that day.
Furthermore, The Marriott International Job Fair as part of Journey Week will take place during August, 10 am – 6 pm, more details of the event to be announced at the further stage.
