As festive season fast approaches on Phuket and to kick off the tourist high season in style, Rock Salt restaurant at The Nai Harn is throwing a special Lift-Off Party on 25thNovember which also heralds the first in a series of Friday DJ sessions overlooking one of the island’s most beautiful beaches.
“This coming high season, we will be spinning into the weekends every Friday with a happy hour to toast the sunset before inviting guests and visitors to enjoy a live soundtrack courtesy of top guest DJs while sipping on exquisite drinks and tucking into the gourmet tapas selection at Rock Salt,” said Frank Grassmann, General Manager at The Nai Harn.
The season opening party will see DJ A (or Ken Deejay) take to the decks – a versatile artist well known on Phuket for his signature mixes, including top 40 hits, club house, and EDM beats. To keep the music flowing, every Friday Session through until April 2017 will showcase a different DJ, with Djane Fabuloops, DJ Ekanan, DJ Vee (Xana Beach Club), DJ Chaovanna (KOLOR Bangkok) all set to headline by the beach in the coming weeks.
Following the successful Best Rosé for Thailand event held in conjunction with master wine connoisseur James Suckling at Rock Salt at the end of last high season, who will be returning this December, the Friday Session at Rock Salt will be supported by what’s arguably the world’s best Rosé producer, Chateau d’Esclans. The vineyard’s inescapable Whispering Angel – voted among the Top 10 Rosé wines by James Suckling – is the summer wine of choice from the Hamptons to St. Tropez and already a favourite tipple for guests at The Nai Harn.
If that wasn’t enough to satisfy its patrons’ pink palettes, in a first for Phuket, the bar at The Nai Harn now serves Frosé – an Italian rosé, also specially selected by James Suckling, that’s frozen and blended to create a unique frozen wine cocktail.
“Every hour is happy hour for Rosé lovers at the Friday Sessions. The “buy one get one free” applies all evening for Whispering Angel from 5:30 p.m. onwards, ensuring that partygoers have the perfect taste to go with the cool sounds and cool beachside vibe,” added Mr.Grassman.
Rock Salt’s ingredient-driven menu showcases cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa with a dash of Thai influence and lots of seafood – with highlights including Andaman Seafood platter, Awesome Chicken Tandoori, Pizza from a wood fired oven and homemade ice cream.
With an eclectic blend of hard-to-resist indulgences and a trendy, casual beachside ambiance, Rock Salt restaurant at The Nai Harn offers a perfect choice for visitors and residents looking to chill out in consummate style on Phuket.
