Chief Winemaker of Beringer Vineyards Helps Winelovers Discover Award Winning Beringer Wines From The Acclaimed Napa Valley

Mark Beringer, Chief Winemaker of internationally acclaimed Napa Valley winery Beringer Vineyards visited Bangkok last week, hosting a series of educational engagements with the purpose of helping consumers discover the quality and provenance of Beringer wines from California’s famed Napa Valley.

The Napa Valley is one of the world’s top wine producing regions, and with 141 consecutive vintages, Beringer Vineyards is California’s longest continuously operated winery. Mark is the great-great grandson of Jacob Beringer, and is now the eighth Chief Winemaker in Beringer’s history.

With more wines on the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 than any other winery in the world, Beringer is one of Napa Valley’s leading wine brands, recognized and appreciated the world over.

This visit to Bangkok is part of Mark’s SEA tour to the brand’s key markets, as well as to celebrate the winery’s campaign with the world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor.

Launched earlier this year, the campaign has already reached out to millions across Southeast Asia with the aim of making travel planning more enjoyable and social over a glass of Beringer so that people get the most out of their valuable annual leave. The campaign also included social media executions, in-store promotions and events which further encouraged consumers to get together with friends to plan their next holiday with their favourite Beringer wine.

Beringer Wines paring 4 courses menu at the event included:

  • 2014 Beringer Founders’ Estate Chardonnay with Alaskan King Crab
  • 2014 Beringer Founders’ Estate Merlot with Organic Local Duck Breast
  • 2013 Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with Australian Lamb Loin
  • 2014 Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon with French Cheese Selection

In Thailand, Beringer is exclusively distributed by Bangkok Beer & Beverage (BB&B).
