foodpanda Thailand began operations in 2012, launching initially in Bangkok with 50 restaurant partners. In 2016, foodpanda Thailand completed over 1,000,000 food deliveries while increasing the number of restaurant partners in its network to over 1,600 restaurants, covering most major cities in Thailand, including Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai. Each year, foodpanda Thailand launched new enhancements to its service offering, providing a better user experience and more value to customers. In this 5th year of operations specifically, foodpanda Thailand overcame challenges of delivery, introduced an affordable 40 THB delivery fee and has recently expanded the coverage to areas outside of the city such as Thonburi,Minburi and Nonthaburi. As well as introducing early morning food deliveries, providing customers with the ability to order a wide range of breakfast cuisines in CBD areas of Bangkok.

Most remarkably, foodpanda Thailand has decreased the average delivery time from 70 minutes in the first year of operations to 35 minutes today. This is to fulfill its mission of delivering the best meals from the best restaurants to customers as quickly as possible.
This coming year, foodpanda is looking to improve its user’ experience by continuing to decrease the delivery time, adding exciting restaurants to its portfolio along with working towards the goal of having longer opening hours.
To celebrate its 5th anniversary, this June; customers can enjoy the food from over a hundred participating restaurants with free delivery.
