Herbalife, a global nutrition company, recently held the second Herbalife Nutrition Day Mini Marathon under the theme “RUN FOR LIFE” at the Rot Fai Park, close to Bangkok’s Chatuchak Weekend Market. Over 2,000 participants joined the mini marathon, which aims at encouraging people of all ages to stay healthy and fit. At the end of the run, an Herbalife Nutrition executive gave part of the proceeds raised for the Marathon to Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital to help build the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Chalermprakiat Emergency and Trauma Center.
To keep participants upbeat and enthusiastic, Herbalife Nutrition hosted fun games and offered New-flavored F1 protein shake – Chocolate Mint Flavor to fuel and refresh the runners.
“For most participants, joining this successful mini-marathon involved a lot of preparation, both physically and mentally, including a balanced diet to boost stamina, strength and endurance. The mission of Herbalife Nutrition is to bring health and wellness to everyone and to give encouragement to those seeking a healthy, active lifestyle” said Mr. Suphot Rittipichaiwat, General Manager, Herbalife Thailand.
This Mini-Marathon marked Herbalife Nutrition Day in Thailand, which was celebrated across the Asia-Pacific region. A variety of activities were conducted across the different countries to underline the importance of good nutrition and healthy active lifestyles for overall well-being.
In addition, children from the Baan Nokkamin Foundation, which is part of the Casa Herbalife program in Thailand, were also invited to join the mini-marathon. The Herbalife Family Foundation provided nutritional support to the children as part of its Casa Herbalife program.
