Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok and G Four Wines invite you to a memorable 5-course dinner of regional Italian cuisine at Rossini’s on Friday June 23.
At our special Tuscan Wine Dinner, Chef Gaetano Palumbo will welcome diners with enticing canapés to enjoy with sparkling Follador Prosecco Gold.
Seated in Rossini´s enchanting Tuscan villa setting, discerning diners will be served a delicious appetizer of seasonal white asparagus with a Hokkaido scallop, truffle caviar, tarragon sabayon and northern Italian Speck ham. The dish will be accompanied by the Casanova di Neri Rosso di Montalcino 2013, a wine of great finesse with hints of maraschino cherries, violets and red fruit. The second dish of the evening a beef tartar with spring summer salad will be accompanied by the Felsina Chianti Riserva Rancia 2011, an outstanding wine awarded 94 points by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and described as “an elegant wine with a polished finish. One of the best Riservas of 2011” Chef Gaetano will also serve a saffron carnanoli rice risotto with braised ox tail and bone marrow to enjoy with the Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno Toscana 2013 using a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot resulting in a wine that was awarded 97 points by James Suckling. A highlight of the evening will be the succulent duck breast with Parma ham, sweet cherries and kohlrabi paired with the Azienda Agraria Orma 2013. To end the dinner, Chef Gaetano has prepared his secret Sambuca-infused chocolate mousse with apricot and carrot sherbet matched with the Felsina Vin Santo 2003, followed by coffee, tea and sweet treats.
