Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok’s NEXT2 Café welcomes guests to celebrate the famous Songkran Festival and indulge in a cooling summer treat with Khao Chae Chao Wang available during lunch buffet from 13 to 22 April 2018 at Bt1,200 net per person.

Khao Chae, a century-old cooling remedy, is a traditional Thai dish usually served during the scorching summer heat of Thailand. This al dente rice soaked in jasmine-scented water is served alongside savoury condiments, such as Shrimp Paste Balls, Stuffed Shallots, Stuffed Sweet Peppers, Shredded Sweet Beef or Pork and Stir-Fried Sweet Pickled Chinese Turnips with Egg. An incredibly refreshing effect of Khao Chae helps cool off the body temperature and makes it a perfect treat this summer. Guests can enjoy Khao Chae Chao Wang dishes along with other sumptuous international buffet.

Golden Circle members can enjoy a 25 per cent discount on food for lunch buffet with Khao Chae Chao Wang dishes on Monday to Saturday.
