THAI, IPST, and Rolls-Royce Organize Young Pilots Camp for Winners of Thailand STEM Festival 2016

Group Captain Pongtorn Thepkanjana (back row, third from left), Vice President, Flight Operations Department, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), recently presided over the certificate ceremony for 60 students who participated in the “Young Pilots Camp for Winners of Thailand STEM Festival 2016,” winners of a creative aviation contest.Also present were Mrs. Petchpring Sarasin (back row, first from left), THAI Vice President, Corporate Image and Communications Department, Professor Upakarn Jirapan (back row, fourth from left), Deputy Director, The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), and Mr. Hugh Vanijprabha (back row, second from left), Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Thailand, at a ceremony that was held at THAI’s Head Office.

THAI and Rolls-Royce jointly sponsored “Thailand STEM Festival 2016,” which was organized by The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST). The 60 winners of the competition received the opportunity to participate in Young Pilots Summer Camp with THAI, during which they learned about commercial aviation and trained in the flight simulator with THAI pilots.
