The St. Regis Bangkok invites top Michelin-Starred culinary talents from around the globe to take over the kitchen at their ground-floor Jojo Restaurant. From Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd February 2018, The St. Regis Bangkok presents highly acclaimed 2-Michelin-Star French Chef Bruno Oger. As guest chef, he will be introducing the popular French style of dining out, known as Bistronomie, to guests at The St. Regis Bangkok, in two exclusive lunch and dinner menus.
A contemporary French culinary movement, Bistronomie offers a much more approachable and informal way of dining. With seasonal, market-driven and changing menus, together with thoughtful and often bio-dynamic or organic wine selections, there are no meticulous presentations and no standing on ceremony.
Chef Bruno’s aim is to delight guests with emphasis on exquisite taste sensations, through excellent and sustainably sourced ingredients, together with his decades of award-winning culinary acumen. Guests will feel as if they have come home to dine in the heart and soul of France and to the warmth of Chef Bruno’s very own kitchen, yet right in the centre of Bangkok.
“To me, good food is foremost a human adventure. It is synonymous with good times…” ~Chef Bruno Oger.
Guests are assured a great adventure into Chef Bruno’s modern brasserie style. Tempting courses in both menus include: a warm squid salad and a Provence confit with basil; roasted scallop with aniseed, fennel and asparagus; spaghetti à-la-Guitare in Armorican sauce; duck breast and foie gras with mushrooms; and for dessert, pure Caribbean chocolate profiterole with a large honey madeleine. Dinner adds a touch of citrus, by including roasted seabass with organic lemon and rouille bouillon, as well as a lemon meringue pie.
Perfectly complimenting these casual, yet flavour-rich, menus, optional pairings of selected French wines are available at both lunch and dinner, for an additional fixed price.
