H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto, Portugal Ambassador to Thailand, said that “Portuguese Week at My Kitchen” event will help to strengthen the 500 years old relations between Thailand and Portugal, and get together the Thai and Portuguese communities in Thailand.
“In this first edition of the ‘Portuguese Week at My Kitchen’ we are honored to have Chef Margarida Amaro, from Portugal, with us. Chef Margarida has a strong background in cooking traditional Portuguese food and will prepare an appetizer menu to be served on the June 10th with two authentic Portuguese dishes: Clams Portuguese Style (with lemon, garlic and coriander) and Meat Bread from the city of Lamego. Chef Margarida will also provide the opportunity for all visitors of My Kitchen space, during a few days on that week, to learn how to cook two dishes from authentic Portuguese gastronomy. All participants are free to attend every workshop throughout the festival, free of charge, while there will be top-selling products such as famous wines and egg tarts from Portugal and other traditional foods.” the Ambassador said.
