Hokkaido is renowned for its exceptional seafood and farm produce. The delicious bounty harvested from the northern waters of Japan includes king crab, scallops, sea urchins, salmon and salmon roe, shrimp, and much more.

At Yamazato, Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara celebrates regional seasonal cuisine with Hokkaido set lunch platters and a la carte dining.

Exquisite dishes made with imported ingredients include fresh tofu skin with crab, wasabi, avocado, and soy sauce, sashimi of yellow tail tuna and sweet shrimp, and grilled snow fish and corn paste and miyoga. Diners can also enjoy an à la carte selection of grilled soft cod roe with maitake mushrooms and oyster, grilled salmon with salmon roe, oyster tempura, grilled king crab, and another local specialty, the Genghis Khan Mongolian mutton barbecue, and much more.

Yamazato is a multi-award-winning Japanese restaurant serving refined Kaiseki Ryori haute cuisine. Created by the master chef, the traditional recipes are presented with artistic flair to enjoy in an understated contemporary setting. The beautifully balanced lunch, dinner and à la carte menus reflect the changing seasons and Japanese festivals throughout the year. Diners at Yamazato can enjoy the exceptional cuisine at one of two teppanyaki tables, at the sushi bar, or in a private dining room.
