In early June 2018 the collaboration of two of the paper industry’s longest standing brands will bring the Asian Paper & Tissue World Bangkok 2018, the first pan-Asian event of its kind to be held in the Thai capital. For three days representatives from the pulp, paper, tissue and packaging industries will gather in Bangkok, bringing together product makers and suppliers from around the world under one roof.

Taking place from June 6-8, 2018 at BITEC Bangkok and organized with the help of UBM Singapore, the Asian Paper and Tissue World 2018 will welcome a large pool of visitors and exhibitors, thereby creating a range of valuable business opportunities for guests. Attracting everyone from product makers of packaging, paper, pulp, tissue and jumbo rolls, converters, retailers and distributors, to suppliers of paper making machineries, drying technologies, process automation and control, chemicals and many more, Asian Paper & Tissue World Bangkok is the place to meet and connect with all leading industry players.

Apart from offering valuable networking opportunities, the Asian Paper and Tissue World 2018 will also focus on strategies for long-term growth in paper, packaging and tissue by exploring how paper’s trajectory can be optimized to save costs and ensure the industry’s sustainability.

Trade show guests are invited to attend a high-level management symposium titled ‘Shaping Success: Strategies for Sustainable Growth in Paper, Packaging and Tissue’. Here leading speakers share their vision of successful machine conversions, paper, paperboard and tissue markets, trends and outlooks, current and future demand drivers for fiber and cutting-edge case studies. This conference features national and international speakers from organizations such as Valmet (Thailand), IndustryEdge (Australia), Pöyry (Finland) and Euromonitor (Singapore), just to name a few.

To give attendees even more tools to better understand the market and make wise business decisions, the New Applied Technology Sessions will cover innovations and case studies about topics ranging from fibers and sustainability, through process-enhancing solutions and cost-saving upgrades to Industry 4.0. Speakers on these topics will include professionals from Klabin (Brazil), ABB (Finland), FLSmidth (Denmark) and AkzoNobel (Sweden). ‘Reducing water usage in ECF bleaching for sustainable pulp production’ and ‘Nanotechnology for formation and control of harsh environments’ are among the talks event visitors can look forward to.
