“Bridging Thailand and Russia” Seminar Successfully Held at Royal Cliff

On 22 July 2016, Royal Cliff Hotels Group was the venue for the “Bridging Thailand and Russia” seminar by the Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce.


More than 60 participants joined this event which was held at the Orchid Ballroom A of the Royal Cliff Grand Hotel.  In attendance were distinguished government officials lead by Mr. Vladimir Marchukov, the Senior-Counselor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Russian Federation and Mr. Oleg Maslennikov,  the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation along with prominent executives from various fields, including Ms. Aekthida Vongkamhang, the Director of European and CIS Affairs Division of the Department of International Trade Promotion, Mr. Oleg Oleinik, the President of the International Union of Ecologists and the President of the International Ecology Movement “Live Planet”, Mr. Pattanapong Tansomboon, the First Senior Vice-President of Kasikornbank Public Co., ltd., Mr. Noppadon Khamsai, the Managing Director of the Thai Sturgeon Farm Co., ltd. and Ms. Nathareekon Saesubak, the Senior Investment Promotion Officer of the Board of Investment of Thailand.

Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, Managing Director of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group and the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation for the provinces of Chonburi and Rayong was also present to welcome the attendees.

The seminar included a presentation of diplomas and awards of the International Union of Ecologists, Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, informative presentations on technologies, current trends and business relations between Thailand and Russia as well as a remarkable panel discussion on promoting Thai-Russian trading and investment.

The Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) was officially registered on 6 November 2005. It is the direct successor of the Thai-Russian Trade Association, which has gained wide acceptance and popularity throughout its years of activity.
