IMPACT Speed Park welcomes incentive group from HK

IMPACT Speed Park aims to attract more foreign travelers with focus on incentive travelers and corporate clients. The gokart facility recently welcomed an incentive group of 200 people from Hong Kong to experince the thrill of speed.  It also offers Drive and Dine package that allows customers to enjoy go kart racing and international meal, aiming to attract foreigners who are free independent travelers (FITespecially from Hong Kong and Taiwan. It expects the number of events and incentive travelers to increase 10from 2017    

Miss Piyathida Thurachon, Director of Leisure & Entertainment of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd.,  the operator of IMPACT Speed Park, a worldclass gokart facility at IMPACT Lakefront in Muang Thong Thani, has revealed 2018 business plan for IMPACT Speed ParkThe company has set marketing strategy to atrtact more foreign travelers including incentive travelers and corporate clients who are looking to organize parties or other events at the gokart facility in order to drive revenue growth of IMPACT Speed Park as the two groups are considered quality travelers who spend on travel 34 times more than the average. The company also expects the number of the two groups visiting IMPACT Speed Park to increase 10from last year

Since its debut in December 2016, IMPACT Speed Park has hosted more than 10 events organized by international incentive groups and corporate clientssuch as SIMA ASEAN 2017 ThankYou Dinner, Kawasaki launch event and Young Entrepreneur Thai Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, IMPACT Speed Park has welcomed an incentive group of 200 people from CITIAIA Hong Kong to experince the thrill of speed at the first Asias electric go karting complexGo kart racing at IMPACT Speed Park was part of CITIAIA Hong Kongs incentive program that included other activities such as Thai boxing and traditional Thai massage

To increase the number of incentive travelers and corporate clients as planned, the company will launch new packages to stimulate interest among travelersInitially, Drive and Dine” package has been launched to offer special deal for a group reservation for up to 20 persons, including two karting sessions at IMPACT Speed Park and dinner at Breeze Café & Bar. The package is specially designed for free independent travelers (FIT), especially those from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China who usually travel in groups to enjoy go kart racingCurrently, foreign travelers makes up 50of customers at IMPACT Speed Park

In addition, there is Exclusive Rate” package available for those wishing to rent the whole venue for private party of 50 or more. It is perfect for big groups to gather, have fun racing, and strengthen relationships within their organizations. 

Miss Piyathida said “IMPACT Speed Park plans to attract more travelers, particularly international travelers. We have consulted with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) for promoting IMPACT Speed Park to become more widely known among ASEAN travelers, starting off with Malaysia and Singapore.”   

The Incentive sector is a major contributor to Thailand’s MICE industry. The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has included the incentive sector in its strategy to generate revenue for Thailand. In the 2017 fiscal year, Thailand welcomed 1,276,411 MICE travellers who generated 104,641 million baht of revenue for the country. Of these, 271,793 were incentive travelers who helped contribute 16,696 million baht in revenue. Thailand’s top five incentive markets are China, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, respectively.
