Winners of “Pitch@Palace ASEAN” announced

Startups from Thailand and Brunei voted to represent ASEAN region at the Global       Finals in London this December

HRH The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, hosted “Pitch@Palace ASEAN”, a 2-day event, which was recently held in Bangkok at C Asean and IMAX Theatre@IconSiam, respectively.  17 Entrepreneurs, representing all 10 countries of the ASEAN, participated in the Event.

HostAStay, represented by Mr. Jordan Oon (left) from Malaysia, who won the People’s Choice Award

Modern Lao Homes, represented by Mr. Benjamin Soo Kien Yap (second left) from Laos

Memori, represented by Ms. Queenie Chong (second right) from Brunei, runner-up

TakeMeTour, represented by Mr. Amornched Jinda-apiraksa (right) from Thailand, was voted as the No. 1 startup

Both TakeMeTour and Memori will now represent the ASEAN region at “Pitch@Palace Global” at St. James’s Palace in London, UK on December 11, 2019.

Founded by The Duke of York in London in 2014, “Pitch@Palace” aims to support entrepreneurs in accelerating their ventures by providing a platform for them to present and connect to an audience of influencers, investors and experts across different industries.  Since its inception, Pitch@Palace has reached 64 countries, helped 1,042 start-up businesses, created 6,323 new jobs and generated over £1,119 million of new economic activity.  In addition, the survival rate for Pitch@Palace Alumni companies is 97%.
