The Manchester United event that has created unforgettable atmospheres around the world is coming to Bangkok.

The club has today confirmed the details of #ILOVEUNITED Thailand, the first large-scale fan party of the season, as part of a global series of events launched in China earlier this month.

Fans in the Thai capital are set to enjoy a special evening, culminating in a live-match screening of the much-anticipated match against Chelsea on Sunday 23 October 2016.

Global ambassador Bryan Robson, himself a former coach of the Thailand national team, and United legend Nemanja Vidic will both attend the event at CentralWorld.

The former United captains will meet fans and sample local culture over a weekend of activities in Bangkok, before the fan viewing party, where they will take part in an on-stage Q and A, share personal anecdotes from their time at the club and give pre and post-match analysis of the game. There will also be entertainment, giveaways and competitions courtesy of the club’s commercial partners.

Among the activities will be the chance for Thai United fans to win the trip of a lifetime to Old Trafford once they’ve put their skills to the test. A 3v3 tournament on a small-sided pitch will be overseen by Manchester United Soccer Schools coaches. Fans should register their interest by visitingwww.ManUtd.com/Thailand3v3Applications. Applications will be entered into a ballot and successful teams notified via email prior to the event.

#ILOVEUNITED Thailand is free to attend and fans are asked to apply online for tickets by visiting www.ManUtd.com/ILoveUnitedThailand by no later than Tuesday 11 October. Applications will then be entered into a ballot, with tickets issued at random. Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than Thursday 13 October.*

Manchester United’s Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold comments:

“With 19.5 million followers, we’re proud to have a very loyal and passionate fan base in Thailand. We work hard to engage with our global family of fans and we’re greatly helped by our commercial partners, who continue to come up with new, interactive ways to celebrate the unique passion around the world for this great football club.

“Chelsea away is the sort of match Bryan Robson and Nemanja Vidic, the great warriors of their day, would have relished. Our fans in Bangkok have a fantastic opportunity to see this passion first hand as they watch the game with two of our most iconic captains.”
