TOT Public Company Limited has teamed up with The WhiteSpace Limited, mobile phone service provider or Penguin SIM, for a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) business model that will provide the best ever mobile phone service to Penguin customers on 2100 MHz, covering 3G platforms nationwide.
This cooperation makes Penguin, the MVNO service provider in Thailand with two frequencies available. It will certainly strengthen Penguin in terms of the overall quality of its network with enhanced signal stability, meeting the needs of customers.
Mr. Rungsan Channarukul, Senior Executive Vice President of the Wireless Business Unit of TOT Plc., is very pleased with this cooperation, which he said would certainly benefit Penguin customers. “The customers will benefit from a quality network. Moreover, this partnership will support the 20-year national strategy to lead the Country to Thailand’s 4.0 era. To respond to the fast-growing mobile market, WhiteSpace will launch this service with TOT under “Penguin SIM” brand within this year. The
“Penguin SIM” will emphasize on economical fees, giving a new alternative to customers looking for value-for-money, honest and easy-to-use services. WhiteSpace plan to penetrate the prepaid mobile phone market through its nationwide sales channels.
