THAI Joins Women’s Journey Thailand 2017


Mrs. Phakkhra Ruangsiradecho, Executive Vice President (third from left), Aviation Business Unit, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), together with Mrs. Srisuda Wanapinyosak  (forth from left), TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing Asia and South Pacific, and Mrs. Chadanisa Chumnanvej (fifth from left), Deputy General Manager of Suvarnabhumi Airport (Operations Group 2), recently held the opening of “Women’s Journey Thailand 2017” activity which is in joint assistance with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) at Departure Hall of Suvarnabhumi Airport. THAI participated in the event by opening check-in counter row B09, in Pink Lady Theme, to service women customers on all class and every flight, during 5 a.m. – 8 p.m. throughout the month of August.

As women are significant tourists with high-spending power, the Women’s Journey Thailand campaign 2017 is launched by TAT to encourage Thailand as one of Asia’s most female friendly destinations. The 2017 campaign continued from last year’s successful event, which enhanced great awareness from over 27 million global hits, and collaborated with 800 public and private sectors to offer special privileges for female travelers.
