The Neilson Hays Library and the Embassy of the United States in Bangkok invite submissions for an advanced creative writing workshop with Uthis Haemamoon, Veeraporn Nittiprapha, and Wipas Srithong on March 20, 2019.
The Workshop
With the aim of promoting Thai literature, the Library and the U.S. Embassy are organizing this workshop for established and emerging writers to learn more about the craft of creative writing from award-winning authors. In the workshop, participants will also be introduced to the residency opportunities at the prestigious the International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa in the United States. The workshop will be conducted in Thai and will be free to attend. Lunch and a coffee break included.

Interested writers are invited to submit an application that includes:
- A sample of published writing in Thai, no more than two pages single-spaced.
- A cover letter that includes the applicant’s bio, including the following information:
- Statement of motivation
- Date of Birth
- Contact details including email address and telephone numbers
- English Proficiency (Native, fluent, intermediate, and beginner)
