Ms.Suporn Wattanavekin, Chairman of AEON Thailand Foundation, granted a yearly scholarship of 236,000 baht to Ms. Wannakanok Pohitaedaoh, the president of the Association of Children and Youth for the Peace in the Southernmost Provinces of Thailand. The scholarship aims to improve the lives of children in Thailand’s southern borders (Luuk Rieang Group). As AEON Thailand Foundation regards children as an important force in society, the foundation continues to provide children with more opportunities and access to standardised education so that they can grow into high-quality individuals for Thailand’s future development. This scholarship is part of the foundation’s ongoing educational support and development programme for Thai youth.
