AEON Thailand Foundation led by Ms. Suporn Wattanavekin (second from right), Chairperson of AEON Thailand Foundation and Mr. Witchasorn Suwannakindra (right), Senior Vice President of AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited has awarded three scholarships for the Master of Science in Urban Disease Control and Prevention: M-UDC (one year course), the academic year 2023 to the Urban Disease Control and Prevention Foundation, totaling three scholarships worth 465,000 baht. On this occasion, the foundation also provided 15,000 N95 masks, worth over 390,000 baht to support the operations of the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health. The donation was received by Dr. Preecha Prempree (center), Public Health Supervisor, Director of Health District Office No. 4, Secretary-General of the Urban Disease Control and Prevention Foundation and management. AEON Thailand Foundation emphasises the importance and impact of emerging disease outbreaks on Thai people and the sufficient availability of qualified medical and public health personnel is a crucial factor in coping with the epidemic. The AEON Thailand Foundation’s mission is to promote and improve the quality of life for Thai people and society. The foundation therefore creates and develops Thai medical personnel to have appropriate knowledge and abilities in disease prevention and control in urban areas to bring their expertise in managing emergencies or disease crises effectively and to thoroughly provide health care and well-being to Thai people.
