Topgolf Thailand is set to make waves in Thailand’s sports and entertainment scene with the opening of Topgolf Megacity on August 17th, 2022. The first concept of its kind in Southeast Asia developed by a management team with decades of experience in pioneering and managing hospitality, entertainment, and sports operations.
With 102 golf-hitting bays, five bars and restaurants, a golf academy, and an 18-hole professional putting green, Topgolf Megacity aims to attract 500,000 guests per year. The sports and entertainment venue will open to the public on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022. It is the first Topgolf venue in Southeast Asia and is the 78th Topgolf venue worldwide.
Topgolf Thailand’s management team comprises of leaders with diverse backgrounds. They all play prominent roles in establishing the vision and strategic goals, implementing innovative ideas, and paving the path for Topgolf Megacity to be the model for future Topgolf openings in Thailand and the Southeast Asian region.
The four prominent leaders of Topgolf Thailand introduced in this release are the Head of Operations for Thailand, the Director of Operations – Food & Beverage (F&B) and Events, the Director of Sales and Marketing, and the Director of Instruction for Topgolf Megacity.
Tim Boda joined Topgolf Thailand as Head of Operations in October 2020 as the first Thailand-based team member. Tim oversees the development and the entire operations of Topgolf in Thailand, ensuring everything is on point as he lays the foundation for the company’s regional expansion.
A Thai resident for more than 20 years, Tim has made his mark at the Minor Hotel Group for 15 years, most recently as Group Director of Food and Beverage, Operational Excellence, and Events.
Tim is confident that the globally-loved Topgolf concept will be a major success in Thailand thanks to the localized elements tailored to the Thai market. In other words, Topgolf Thailand has tweaked its features and offerings to match the preferences of Thai consumers.

Kittaneth Thavornsakchareon (Top) is the Director of Operations for Food & Beverage (F&B) and Events for Topgolf Megacity. Top’s role ranges from creative implementation of F&B trends across Topgolf’s bars and restaurants to recruiting, training, and managing his team of over 230 members. All with a common purpose: to deliver moments that matter to Topgolf guests.
Before joining Topgolf Thailand, Top accumulated years of experience in F&B and event management from many reputable hotels in Bangkok. Most recently, Top worked at SO/Bangkok as the Executive Assistant Manager and the Director of Wine & Dine (F&B).
Top believes that his experiences, combined with Topgolf’s empowering company culture, will allow him to do what he loves. That is, combining his favorite hobby with his professional passion for delivering food and beverage innovations and excellent service to every guest that walks into the building.
Nicha Ruenthip (Note) is the Director of Sales and Marketing who brings over 20 years of experience and leadership in the hospitality industry to Topgolf Thailand. Note has worked extensively with various five-star establishments and on high-pressured pre-opening projects. She held a director position at SO/ Bangkok and Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, respectively, before joining Topgolf Thailand.
Note is recognized industry-wide for her solid marketing and sales background, as well as her strategies and success in launching brand-new establishments At Topgolf, she has drawn on her sales, marketing, and professional event management experiences to build a modern one-stop service for Topgolf. The strategic, innovative center combine proactive sales efforts, reactive guest enquiries and administration into one strong sales force that drives strong customer service and revenue.

Stephanie Oukeo joined Topgolf Thailand as the Director of Instruction, overseeing the Topgolf Academy, the Puttyard, and other golf services. She has over 18 years of experience as a former golfer at Purdue University Women’s Golf Team and a professional golfer playing on the LPGA Tour.
Stephanie brings her exceptional coaching expertise to the team by setting up the Topgolf Academy to transform the way golf is taught. .
The full-fletched academy offers a professional yet fun environment for students from 18 months to 88 years old to master fundamental golfing skills while having fun which is key to being good at golf. With high-tech facilities and advanced coaching methods, the Topgolf Academy sets new teaching standards in Thai golfing.
Stephanie and her coaching team provide a range of group classes and individual coaching sessions that players of all levels can join at their convenience. Standing behind the motto “why so serious?”, their ambition is to make golf an enjoyable pastime for everyone.
