Culinary Delights: Savio at Chatrium Grand

Chatrium Grand Bangkok, the new icon of luxury hospitality in the heart of Siam, has revealed details of the city’s most exciting and theatrical live culinary concept at Savio, the art-inspired dining destination that fuses the finest flavours of East and West.

At Savio, the talented culinary team only works with a hand-selected network of sustainable suppliers to source the freshest local produce and import impeccable ingredients from around the world. Led by Executive Chef Darius Seitfudem, who has worked at five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants in Asia, Europe and Australia, Savio strives to create Bangkok’s best live dining experience.

The International Lunch and International Dinner selections are available seven days a week, with an amazing array of live stations that showcase flavours from around the world, including many dishes

that are cooked à la minute in an upbeat atmosphere. Guests can look forward to a crisp and colourful salad bar, handcrafted sushi and sashimi, dim sum, premium cold cuts and cheeses, and a series of live stations featuring carved meats and fish, homemade pasta, sumptuous stews, grilled delicacies, and authentic Indian and Chinese specialties. A rotating selection of Thai delights includes lamb massaman curry, tom yum goong, kaeng som and moo hong.

Every International Dinner will also present delectable seafood on ice, such as freshly-shucked Fine de Claire oysters, blue swimming crab, clams and Babylon whelks, plus luxurious lobster every Friday and Saturday.

Reflecting Savio’s focus on premium produce from around the globe, menu highlights include live Canadian lobster, wagyu tomahawk steak from Australia’s Margaret River, Queensland lamb, locally-sourced river prawns, Iberico pork, Spanish turbot, succulent crab claws, wild-caught Norwegian salmon, and locally-farmed organic Spanish-style suckling pig.
Savio’s epicurean experts will also present their own specialty dishes. Chef Darius will showcase his mouth-watering wagyu beef stroganoff, a rich and indulgent European stew, while Indian culinary master Chef Pravin invites diners to savour his tandoori grilled prawns, and Chef Tien, who specialises in Chinese cuisine, will present his spectacular Peking duck for lunch every Saturday and Sunday.

Naturally, no meal is complete without a delicious dessert and guests at Savio can look forward to tasting the artistic creations of Chef Thunyaporn Sripadung, a highly skilled Thai pastry chef who will present home-baked cakes, live crêpes, traditional Thai sweets, ice creams and much more!
