AirAsia has joined hands with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) for the “Bin Tae Tua Thai (Chic Flying Across Thailand)” campaign, inviting all to discover Thailand’s “chic” experiences with AirAsia, as well as to join in guessing its celebrity presenters for the North, Northeast, East and South regions via the AirAsia Facebook with free AirAsia tickets up for grabs! The campaign presents BIG members with tickets from only THB 500.
Santisuk Klongchaiya, Chief Executive Officer of Thai AirAsia, said that domestic routes are keys to AirAsia’s strategy and it intends to continually introduce new routes both from Bangkok and its regional hubs. AirAsia currently holds the largest market share in the Thai low cost aviation sector and is working with other agencies to further support and promote tourism, especially to attract foreign travellers to the country’s various regions.
“Every region of Thailand has its own ‘chic’ experiences and unique cultures with a wealth of destinations, food and lifestyles to discover. AirAsia has joined hands with the TAT to promote travel across the Kingdom, highlighting the different charms of cities such as Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Pattaya and Phuket. A promotion targeted directly at promoting domestic travel is the airline’s offer of tickets to BIG members starting from only THB 500 one way (non-members start at THB 543) and for BIG members to use their BIG Points for even more discounts. AirAsia has also organised an activity for its fans to guess the celebrities silhouetted on its Facebook page who will be experiencing “Lanna Chic” in Chiang Rai, “Esan Chic” in Khon Kaen, “Chic All Day” in Pattaya and an “Ocean of Chic” in Phuket. Winners will receive domestic flight tickets so they can go experience Thailand’s cool side first hand. Answers can be submitted 30 April – 5 May 2019 with winners to be announced 8 May 2019.
