The award-winning Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort has teamed up with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to offer expatriates exclusive discounts at one of the Koh Phi Phi’s best-loved beachfront resorts.
Off the back of the highly successful ‘Amazing Thailand, the Healthy Journey’ campaign, which provides Thai citizens with nationwide discounts on accommodation, flights and tourist attractions, the TAT is now encouraging the country’s sizeable expatriate population to explore Thailand’s incredible destinations and resorts with a series of promotions as part of the recently launched ‘Expat Travel Bonus, the Healthy Journey’ campaign.
With Thailand’s still largely off-limits to many of the world’s travellers, the country’s residents currently have an unprecedented opportunity to experience Koh Phi Phi without the crowds at a cut-price rate.
“Although Koh Phi Phi is traditionally not as crowded as global travel hotspots like Phuket and Samui, this is still a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience and explore the island with fewer visitors than normal,” says Chao Treenawong, General Manager of Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort. “With the support of the TAT, we’re looking forward to welcoming and rewarding long-term residents to our shores and sharing the rich array of incredible natural attractions and marine wildlife with them.”
As one of Thailand’s most stunning island destinations, Koh Phi Phi usually attracts tourists from across the world with its postcard-perfect beaches, bucolic interiors and endless opportunities for rest and relaxation, and Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is one of its most coveted resorts. Nestled in 70 acres of lush landscaped gardens, overlooking an 800-metre-long stretch of powder-soft beach, Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is inviting the country’s expatriate population to get away from it all and enjoy unlimited-night stays at the upscale oasis with a special package from THB 7,500 net per night for two guests. Available now until 31 December 2020, it includes discounts of up to THB1,000 a night for single- and double-room suites, complimentary breakfast as well as the “buy one get one free’ promotion, applicable on hotels services such as F&B, spa, transfers, excursion, and laundry.
The campaign, which also covers flights, health check-ups and spa treatments amongst other benefits, was launched at a two-fair held at Central Department Store at Central World in Bangkok in early October.
“Leveraging the success of the ‘Amazing Thailand, the Healthy Journey’, [we want to] encourage the expat community in Thailand to take advantage of the country’s plethora of health and wellness products and services at special prices,” TAT governor Yuthasak Supasorn recently told the media.
