The talented mixologists at Up & Above Bar at The Okura Prestige Bangkok are serving refreshing cocktails and mocktails starring the energizing flavours of Asian blossoms. Available every day from 1 October – 31 December 2020.
Highlight of the selection is the Hom Meurn Lee Daiquiri, a heady mix of Havana rum, sweet Osmanthus flower, Born Ginsen sake and plum water. Sweet Osmanthus is a tea-like flower found ranging from the Himalayas through southern China to Taiwan, Japan and Southeast Asia. Also cooling is a Safflower Collins comprising Absolute vodka, Dashi sake, Safflower infusion, fresh lemon, egg white and Angostura Bitters. Safflower has a unique taste and smell, being sweet, slightly hot and ultra-refreshing.
And it wouldn’t be complete without a Jasmine Negroni, the perfect blend of Campari, Cointreau and Jasmin-infused The Bitter Truth Pink Gin. Finally, we have a beautiful mocktail called the Rosé de Mon Coeur starring Mon rose syrup, which is known to combat heat and slake a thirst, combined with fresh lime and ginger for a zesty hit.
Floral cocktails are available daily from 1 October – 31 December 2020, 12.00-24.00, at Up & Above Bar. Prices start at Baht 320++ for cocktails and Baht 220++ for mocktail.
