The outstanding diversity of Thailand’s tourism products is to rise to a whole new level with the opening of a brand new wing with state -of-the-art of leisure facilities and room types for business and leisure travellers. Guests staying at the hotel can look forward to the new 16-meter x 60-meterSignature Pool, consisting of a water playground anchored by a Wibit adventure course running down the middle of the pool, the first hotel in Thailand to feature this inflatable adventure float. The hotel targets five key market segments: Romantics, Families, Friends, Creative MICE and Weddings.

The hotel is projecting that 60% of the clientele will be Thais and Thailand residents, with 30% from regional source-markets such as Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and 10% from Long haul markets. Demographic segments include the Insta-generation, new luxury millennials and recent parents.

An SO Sofitel branded hotel is due to open in Samui, with 83 keys in 2020, with additional properties following in destinations such as Jakarta, Paris, Dubai and more.

SO Sofitel Hua Hin new wing brings the total number of guest rooms, suites and villas from 78 to 109.

The refurbished SO Comfy Pool Access and brand new SO Lofty Pool Access rooms boast private outdoor terraces providing direct access to the Signature Pool.

Additional features a tennis and basketball court and pickle ball court, SO WONDERLAND mini-golf highlight, 18 hole themed adventure golf for all ages to play will open in December 2018.
