While elsewhere the 2019 yearbooks are written and done as everyone heads into the year-end holidays, Business Developers of Archipelago International, Asia’s largest privately-owned and independent hotel management group, are still busy signing hotel deals which they just announced three new signings just before closing the year.
Lombok is set for the 226-key brand new Harper Hotel Mandalika Kuta Lombok, located right on Lombok’s Kuta Beach and within easy access to the eagerly awaited Moto GP Lombok, debuting in 2021. The hotel will feature three meeting rooms, the signature ‘Rustik Bistro & Bar’ and Lombok’s very first beach club.
Next on the list is the ASTON Minangkabau, opening doors in Sumatra’s city of Padang, well-known for its art and culture. As the gateway to the breathtaking Minang Highlands, this is a must-visit destination for domestic and overseas nature enthusiasts alike. The hotel comes with 312 keys and a number of innovative event spaces, quality dining and modern wellness facilities.
Finally, Archipelago’s eighth presence in Yogyakarta, one of Indonesia’s most historical and most prominent destinations to visit, is marked by the arrival of the much-anticipated 150-key Royal Malioboro by ASTON, located just a stone’s throw away from the famed Malioboro street. Get ready to be astonished, as this one will be unlike any ASTON before.
‘Thrilled to announce these three deals and finish a very successful year with a total of 20 new hotel signings! Not only have we managed to further grow our dominion in the domestic and regional markets, but we have also grown globally with new signings in Cuba. Meanwhile, our brands are evolving as we rejuvenate them in response to changing market trends. 2020 is destined to be a very exciting year for us, so get ready for more headlines as we are just warming up,’ says Norbert Vas, Vice President Business Development of Archipelago International.
