The St. Regis Bangkok is setting the stage for an auspicious feast, in honor of the forthcoming Chinese New Year of the Pig, from 4th to 6th February 2019.Located on level 12 of the hotel, VIU Restaurant is transformed with a vibrant Chinese theme to offer extraordinary lunch and dinner buffets overlooking the Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
In keeping with celebratory traditions, all diners over the three days will receive an ang-pao (red envelope). For every three diners, an additional F&B dining voucher will be given.
On the first day of the new lunar year, The St. Regis Bangkok invites guests to come together with friends and family amid vibrant live entertainment including a lion dance performance on 5th February 2019. Diners also have the chance to win lucky draw prizes.
Along with all of VIU’s exquisite culinary offerings, guests can enjoy auspicious dishes and much-loved Chinese favorites including:
BBQ red pork; duck braised in soy sauce; steamed snapper with ginger and shallot; wok fried golden fried rice with BBQ pork and prawns; e-fu noodles with crab meat and beansprouts; stirfried Asian greens with oyster sauce; sesame dumplings (tang yuan) in ginger sweet soup; and ginkgo nut, sweet sticky rice, taro in syrup.
Dinner also includes a choice of two signature lobster dishes, including: grilled lobster with Singaporean chili sauce and steamed buns; stir-fried lobster with black bean and chili; stir-fried lobster with egg and pepper sauce; steamed lobster with ginger and shallot; and lobster and 8 treasure fried rice.
Chinese New Year lunch (12:00 PM – 2:30 PM) is priced at THB 1,288++ per person, and dinner (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM) at THB 2,288++ per person at VIU Restaurant, The St. Regis Bangkok. Reservations are recommended.
