As a long-established Wellness Sanctuary, Kamalaya’s first responsibility is always to the health and wellbeing of its guests and staff. Therefore, they have taken the COVID-19 challenge very seriously from the outset to be as well prepared as possible.

Their senior management committee meets several times a day to keep up to date with the latest Government and international advisories and to discuss how they might impact their guests.

Their hosts then implement their findings at every level throughout the resort.

For additional security, they have a highly trained team of health professionals, including a medical doctor and nurses, as well as their extensive roster of holistic practitioners available to respond seven days a week.

Their preventative measures adapt to the latest updates and advisories which include: following Thai government regulations, scanning guests’ temperature upon arrival at Kamalaya (with additional focus on guests from higher-risk countries), and temperature scanning for all staff, contractors and delivery agents. Staff must self-declare if they feel unwell in any way, and they receive full support from Kamalaya’s health insurance and government sick pay contingencies. they provide hand sanitisation stations throughout the resort and clean all gym equipment, guest accommodation and hotel vehicles thoroughly following each use. Public areas are continuously sanitised, and the Kamalaya team follows strict hygiene standards which are rigourously enforced.

They are confident this detailed information will provide you with the reassurances you might need to continue recommending Kamalaya to your guests and  look forward to welcoming them to their safe and relaxing wellness sanctuary where they can truly focus on their health and wellbeing during these challenging times.
