The lobby’s centrepiece – an exquisite chandelier inspired by the intricate Phuang Malai garland – greets guests with a warm welcome that is distinctly Thai. A walk through the hotel offers a visual feast with traditional Kranok patterns and modern abstract artworks, each holding deep connections to Thai heritage and culture. The Grand Ballroom’s dazzling chandelier, inspired by the elegant attire of traditional Thai dancers, showcases Thai customs with a touch of glamour.
The InterContinental’s dining experiences have also received a tantalising revamp. Seven dining and bar concepts, headed by some of the most skilled chefs from Michelin-star restaurants, offer an enticing gastronomic journey. The dining options range from authentic Cantonese cuisine at Summer Palace, quality European dishes at Fireplace Grill and Bar, to California-inspired delicacies at SoCal. The Food and Beverage Director Dominique Martinez promises a “symphony of flavours” as the hotel swings its doors open again.
