Iron Chef’s Epicurean Gala at Siam Yacht: A Feast at Sea

Synonymous with captivating gastronomic journeys, the dining space delivers surprise after surprise, never failing to entice the city’s food lovers.

To spice things up this June, SYC is enlisting the culinary prowess of Iron Chef Thailand-winning challengers, transforming ordinary Thursday nights into extraordinary culinary fiestas. The celebrated chefs will lend their expertise and flair, collaborating with SYC’s kitchen staff to create a five-course gourmet experience guaranteed to blow your senses away.

For the first collaboration on the 8th of June, the SYC’s resident chef de cuisine, Natchayapong Homsombutchoti, more affectionately known as Chef Nu, will join forces with Chef Julien Lebreton, a victorious competitor from Iron Chef Thailand. Chef Julien, who won the coveted title in 2020, is currently impressing diners as the executive chef at Klongpai Farm. You can check out some of his delectable dishes at Klongpai Farm.

Two weeks later, on the 22nd of June, the spotlight will be on Chef Freddy Loaec. Chef Freddy, a worthy challenger from Iron Chef Thailand, will showcase his expertise alongside Chef Nu. Each extravagant five-course dinner menu is a product of a collaboration between Chef Nu and the guest chef, with dishes that tease and please the palate. The highlight reel for the 8th of June dinner includes an appetizer of Smoked Trout Beignets with lemon grass, caviar, and a ginger and citrus gel, whipped up by the SYC team. Chef Julien’s Ravioli follow this. For the main course, there’s SYC’s Monk fish and Foie gras torchon, and Chef Julien’s Green Label Chicken Breast served with a tangy tamarind glaze, butternut and lime berlingot, lemon grass, confit garlic cream, and chicken jus. The evening concludes with a delightful Tropical Pavlova dessert by SYC.

To further elevate the gourmet experience, a curated wine pairing from Pete’s Pure of Australia will be available to complement each course. You can explore their exquisite collection at Pete’s Pure. The menu is priced at THB 2,500++ per person, exclusive of wine pairings available for an additional THB 1,000++ per person.
