Plant-based diets are gaining popularity around the world and there’s no wonder why. Not only have they been linked to many health benefits, adopting a greener diet is also reported to help reduce environmental damage caused by traditional food production. To raise awareness and inspire travellers to explore the benefits of plant-based diets, Amari is partnering with Green Monday, a social enterprise that promotes green, healthy and sustainable living, to offer month-watering plant-based options at seven Amari city and resort destinations across Thailand.
Starting today, a range of delicious plant-based dishes will be available at seven Amari properties across the country including Amari Koh Samui, Amari Phuket, Amari Hua Hin, Amari Pattaya, Amari Watergate Bangkok, Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok and Amari Buriram United. Bringing together the best of Amari’s culinary talents to demonstrate what can be achieved with the finest and freshest of locally sourced plant-based ingredients, guests can expect each bite to be tasty and tantalising. Some of the highlights include Risotto with Spinach and Vegan Mozzarella Cheese at Amari Koh Samui; Homemade Fettuccine with Pesto at Amari Phuket; Grilled Cauliflower with Roasted Shallots, Mushrooms, Raisins and Almonds at Amari Hua Hin; a three-course plant-based menu with items such as Butter-poached & Grilled Pumpkin Skewers at Amari Pattaya; Thai Green Vegetables Curry made from locally sourced vegetables and homegrown aromatic herbs at Amari Watergate Bangkok; Crispy Taro Root with Chinesse Plum Sauce at Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok; and Cabbage Spring Roll with Garden Salad and Miso Sauce at Amari Buriram United.
