This fall, Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao pursues its first-ever culinary experience, ‘Journeys Around The Mediterranean’ Dining Series. Set from August to October, this 3-month-long gastronautical journey promises diners enticing experiences around Mediterranean cuisine with dining creations of 3 regional European chefs. French, Italian, and Spanish, each culinary master will showcase their cultivated passion for culinary excellence, and imaginatively evoke and reinterpret Mediterranean specialities right at your table.
For this September second destination, all gastronomic enthusiasts should rejoice for A Week On The French Riviera, and the welcoming of world-acclaimed Chef Philippe Keller. Considered by many to be one of the world’s most creative French chefs, this French-born culinary master will be showcasing the best Provençal cuisine has to offer, with his renowned personal twist.
Look forward to a sensuous dining experience from Chef Philippe Keller’s reinterpretation of Provençal cuisine in an exclusive dinner and a special à la carte selection. With limited seating, the full-course set dinner features some subtle use of ingredients such as turbot with an exotic hint of saffron and parsley, or an amazing dish resulting from an encounter between a lobster and a cappuccino. Other creations, such as the lamb, eggplant caviar and capsicum, or the rosemary and cinnamon caramel ice cream lamb affirm flavours reminiscent of Provence in what could boldly be interpreted as neo-Provençal cuisine.
