On 14 February, two lucky couples will be able to whisper sweet-nothings high up in the air as they enjoy a unique romantic experience at the hotel’s Rooftop Skybar. Two private tables, each with a beautiful floral gazebo, will be laid out at the hotel’s Rooftop Skybar. Attentive staff will serve up a sumptuous candlelight dinner specially created by the Executive Chef Maxim Baile and his team. And if they can take their eyes off each other, they can take in a panoramic view of the city’s breath-taking skyline. A duo of musicians will be on hand to serenade with classical music.
The six-course menu will highlight seasonal produce and ingredients for local producers. It includes divine delights such as a Lobster Salad with oyster leaves, asparagus panna cotta, butterfly pea sauce and edible flowers; an intermezzo of Strawberry Mousse with Gold Sphere; and two mains courses: Wagyu Beef Kumamoto with foie gras, Mon jam potato mash, morel mushrooms and organic vegetables, and Emperor Fish with Hokkaido scallops and ginger soya sauce.
This exclusive one-of-a-kind “Dinner Under The Stars” is priced at THB 34,999 ++ and also includes a bottle of Champagne Vieille France Brut Rosé, a round-trip transfer service by BMW Series 7, and a floral bouquet.
Down on the Level 27 at the hotel’s exquisite fine dining restaurant Nimitr, Chef Nanang Prasetya Aditama takes love-struck couples on a magical culinary journey with the indulgent six-course “A Taste Of Love” menu, complemented by fine wines and discreet service, and breath-taking views of the Bangkok vista.
The evening begins with a selection of the chef’s innovative canapés followed by an appetiser of Pan-seared Foie Gras with hazelnut puree, caramelised figs and cherry sauce. A sumptuous Asian Lobster Bisque accompanied by chunks of rock lobster, lemon cream and essence of coriander precedes the main courses. The first is Sous Vide Cod Fish served with rainbow ravioli, organic vegetables, Osetra caviar and miso sauce. The second is Barbecued Lamb Chops complemented by braised vegetables, mashed potato, mint jelly and lamb jus. End on a sweet note with a sumptuous Baked Alaska accompanied by chocolate brownies, vanilla cream and strawberry ice cream. Highlights include the Smoked Salmon Frittata with Sesbania flowers; Oyster & Champagne Ice cream with salmon caviar; Spinach Ricotta Cannelloni with sesbania flowers, turmeric mascarpone sauce, shimeji tempura and strawberry chips; Beef Short Rib, braised in strawberry and Porto jus, with baby carrots and wild mushroom conchiglie pasta; Baked Barramundi in a Crispy Crust with strawberry salsa and fresh aromatic herb sauce, and much more.
