GET, an on-demand multi-service platform, is preparing to extend its services to cover all of Bangkok’s districts on April 1 in response to growing demand. GET will be operating in all 50 districts in Bangkok offering its GET WIN, GET FOOD and GET DELIVERY services. GET officially launched its services in February 2019 and after just one month, the company saw 65 percent growth in user numbers, as the total number of downloads of its app exceeded 300,000.
To respond to this huge increase in demand, the company is also introducing promotions in April as GET WIN and GET FOOD fares will drop to only THB 10.
Pinya Nittayakasetwat, GET Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, said: “We’ve received a hugely positive response to our services from residents in Bangkok with the number of downloaded apps reaching 300,000 in only one month. And now we’re ready to expand our service area to cover all 50 districts in Bangkok to allow more users, drivers and merchants to benefit from our services.
“Our latest addition, GET FOOD, has contributed a great deal to this growth. Our focus is to deliver the most convenient and seamless experience for GET FOOD users, and our average delivery time is 28 minutes, which is above the industry standard. We have strong traction with local SMEs, as 70% of our food merchants are street food vendors and small to medium-sized restaurants. Our top restaurants enjoyed an average delivery sales increase of roughly 40%.”
“We’ve had a great start and we hope to continue this success as we strive to improve life for people in Bangkok. I would like to thank our drivers for putting their trust in us and joining our mission to make city life more convenient for all, as well as our consumers who continue to welcome our company with such enthusiasm.”
To thank Bangkokians for supporting GET, the company is offering a special promotion for GET WIN and GET FOOD services. Users can enjoy a THB 20 discount for every GET WIN trip from today – April 7, with prices starting at only THB 10 per ride. GET FOOD delivery fees start at just THB 10 within a five-kilometer distance from April 1 onward.
