Ministry Of Crab Launches “Corkage-Free Tuesdays”

Diners now have even more reason to enjoy a meal of succulent Mud crab as Ministry of Crab, Sukhumvit’s hub of sustainable seafood, is waiving off its corkage fee every Tuesday.

The Colombo-born restaurant offers a culinary celebration of Sri Lanka’s legendary Mud crab, widely considered some of the best seafood in the world, with prices for a full crab starting at just THB 1,100++.

These wild-caught crustaceans are plated up in a variety of mouthwatering ways, from fiery Pepper Crab to the unique Garlic Chilli Crab and signature Tom Yum Crab.

Since arriving in Bangkok in late 2019, Ministry of Crab has combined top-quality seafood at affordable prices with a casual and spontaneous atmosphere.

Now, every Tuesday, diners can enjoy their order of fresh Mud crab together with a  bottle of wine from their private collection at no extra cost.

In the interests of sustainability, Ministry of Crab makes a strong point of not harvesting Crabs under 500g and serving it at the restaurant.

Aside from their namesake crab dishes, Ministry of Crab proudly presents Sri Lanka’s other renowned Fresh seafood, such as Freshwater king prawns, clams and oysters, obtained from sustainable sources. In addition to supporting local fishermen, the restaurant grows many of its own herbs on the premises, such as the curry leaves used in its crab and prawn curries.

The restaurant is open for dinner from Tuesday-Sunday 6pm – 11pm (last seating at 10pm) and open for lunch on weekends 11.30am – 2.30pm.
