Explorar Hotels and Resorts talent and culture crew conducted a series of hospitality skill-building workshops to further enhance the service standards of the crew at Explorar Pawapi Koh Mook ahead of the highly anticipated opening.
Dr Scott Michael Smith conducted the Spirit of Hospitality workshop from Assumption University, MSME Business School, Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Twenty-two members joined the workshops, including housekeepers, gardeners, service team, and Explorars’ signature ‘Foodies’ and ‘Crew’, gathered almost all from the local community for the “Spirit of Hospitality Master’s Class” led by Dr Scott.
Explorar GM, George Newling-Ward, said of the training, “Dr Scott’s Spirit of Hospitality Workshop works with the team whilst recognising the hard and soft skills that are required in the hospitality industry in order to preserve and prosper.”
“Our objective was to identify opportunities to exceed customers’ expectations and create positive memory-making moments that surprise and delight guests.” said Dr Scott.
