Thailand sets new-high in daily cases – 101 deaths on Sunday

Thailand’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration reported today, Sunday July 18, that there were 11,397 new cases, 5,726 recoveries and 101 deaths in the previous 24 hours. Meanwhile, Covid-19 cases since April have numbered 374,523 cumulatively, with 256,484 recoveries.

At the same time, “worldometers” website revealed today that the latest situation world-wide, shows that over 190 million people have been infected, with 173.8 million recoveries, and 4 million people having passed away.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the chief medical advisor to the U.S. president, said the DELTA variant has already become the major worldwide cause of the pandemic, as it is reportedly now found in 100 countries.
