PROI Worldwide celebrates 50 years of transformation in Public Relations through virtual summit

 PROI Worldwide, the world’s largest partnership of integrated independent communications agencies, organized the first ever Virtual Summit with over 100+ partners in countries all over the world. During this summit, newly appointed Global Managing Director, Jeff Altheide, addressed all the partners for the first time.

The three-day virtual conference had multiple keynote speakers and covered various topics that are currently shaping the industry especially because of the pandemic. Agencies from around the world exchanged ideas, developments, and learnings. Topics explored included The Big Questions in Leadership and Culture in a Changing World, Reimagining Your Agency and Buyology in a Coronavirus World. Renowned entrepreneurs and keynote speakers such as Mr. Martin Lindstorm, Brand and Culture Transformation Expert and Founder of Lindstrom Company, Miss Anna Young, Leadership and Talent Coach at Wesfarmer and Mr. Arun Sudhman, CEO of PRovoke News,  shared insights on how independent PR and communications agencies benefit in the area of employee culture and investment of innovation.

Last month, PROI Worldwide was ranked number 4 in the PRovoke Media 2020 Global Holding Group rankings. The report is based on 2019 revenue from the PR operations of major holding groups and independent networks. With the overall fee income of $990,015,339, PROI showed 3.8% growth over the past year, rising to spot number four as the largest multinational network by brand. Celebrations for PROI Worldwide do not end here. This year the group welcomes 4 new partner agencies that were also introduced, expanding PROI’s global reach to D.R. of Congo, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
