Sunplay Asia, Ltd., a multi award-winning Thai real estate developer represented by its Managing Director, Mr. Adrian Bowen together with its management and staff recently held a 2-day event to launch the grand opening of Sunplay Club Bangsaray in conjunction with Mercedes Benz Club Thailand.
The 2-day event had various activities lined up, enjoyed by the members of the Mercedes Benz Club Thailand as well as the media. The day started with a Mercedes Benz Road Cruise by 28 Mercedes Benz classic cars which travelled from Bangkok to Chonburi. On the way, the road cruise visited Baan Roi Sao (House of Hundred Pillars) Cultural Center, kindly arranged by the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Chonburi office. A small community that has a learning center and a cultural site where visitors learn the culture, traditions and simple way of community life.
The day time activities were followed by a Gatsby-themed gala dinner at the superbly equipped Sunplay Club Bangsaray, where Mercedes Benz Club members joined by over 200 guests had a fun-filled evening with entertainment provided by the talented Swing King band. Guests danced the night away and participated at the charity part of the event with proceeds benefitting the Queen Sirikit Hospital Naval Medical Department in Sattahip, Chonburi to purchase beds for their in-patients as well as for the Local Bangsaray Stray Dog Shelter to buy food and medicines for the dogs under their care.
As part of Sunplay Asia’s corporate social responsibility program, the second day was dedicated to a fun-filled activities organized for the Sunplay’s families and friends as well as members of the media by the local community of Baan Sunsaray at the Sunsaray Community Space (aka Bamboo School) where everyone enjoyed learning the arts of cloth dyeing, weaving, canvas painting, and, weaving of chair seats made out of papyrus.
