Tetra Pak, a world-leading processing and packaging solutions company, together with Bhiraj Tower at EmQuartier and KHOR ReCycle Co., Ltd, launched KHOR reKiosk, a recycled material collecting kiosk at Bhiraj Tower at EmQuartier.
This project aims to encourage office workers to change their habits to save the earth by downloading the KHOR application and then receiving bags to collect their recyclable materials at home, such as any recyclable packaging and used beverage cartons. Those materials can be dropped at the collection point near the office building. This initiative was a collaboration of three organisations led by Mr. Patinya Silsupadol (right), Sustainability Director of Tetra Pak (Thailand) Limited, Mr. Pitithas Waiwiriya (left), CEO of KHOR reCycle Co., Limited and Mr. Thanakrit Kosukwatana (middle), Community Manager, BHIRAJ Management Co., Limited. Together the project partners hope that this activity will help raise environmental awareness collaboratively in the community and to introduce office workers to understand more of the world of recycling.
This pilot project is designed to establish a suitable model and solution for waste segregation and collection for recycling in office buildings, particularly those in Bangkok and its vicinity. Our ambition is to contribute to the development of recycling solutions as Tetra Pak believes every small action counts as a step towards sustainable changes. KHOR reKiosk is currently available for trial use at the Bhiraj Tower’s ground floor on the outside, on the left side, before the parking ticket pick-up point. The project is also open to suggestions on improving the waste segregation system to be the most suitable and practical solution.
