Tetra Pak delivers 1,500 Roof Sheets from Green Roof Project to Help Rebuild Devastated Communities in Kalasin

Tetra Pak, the world’s leading food processing and packaging solutions company, delivered 1,500 roof sheets from “The Green Roof Project” to the victims of “Podul” storm to help rebuild devastated communities in Nongkungsri, Kalasin. The roof sheets were presented by Mr. Wanchai Suwannate, Key Account Director of Tetra Pak (Thailand) Limited, to Mr. Veerasak Srisopa, Kalasin Province’s Vice Governor.  The “Green Roof Project for Friends in Need of (“PA”) Volunteers Foundation” is a project that encourages collection of used beverage cartons for recycling into roof sheets which are donated to people whose homes were damaged in natural disasters. Since 2010, the Green Roof project has recycled more than 200 million cartons, producing over 60,000 roof sheets and helping thousands of families in the process. Used carton packages can be donated at collection points at all branches of Big C Super Center nationwide.  In the photo, from left to right:1.
