Today (26 November 2019) Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), presided over the opening ceremony of CG Day 2019 and presented the corporate governance policy, then signed the document of intention to join the Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption (CAC). CG Day 2019 was held to raise employee awareness about corporate governance (CG), as employees are important in resolving THAIās crisis. THAI employees have been encouraged to be āwhistle blowersā and take action against all forms of corruption based on the āCG in Actionā concept. CG Day 2019 opening ceremony was held at THAIās Head Office, with the presence of Miss Sirikul Laukaikul, THAI Chairman of the Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility, Miss Nitaya Direksathapon, THAI Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, THAI President, and THAI employees.
THAI received an āExcellentā score group in the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies 2019 from the Thai Institute of Directors (Thai IOD) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). THAI was also granted five-stars from the National Corporate Governance Committee for the second consecutive year.
