THAI Smile Expands Services in Chiang Mai, Opening New Route from Chiang Mai-Kaohsiung

THAI Smile Airways is continuously launching new routes with the latest one flying from Chiang Mai to Kaohsiung for passengers traveling between the two cities. The flight offers easy connections to other provinces in the North of Thailand and more choices to Thai passengers for traveling to Kaohsiung—a new travel destination in Taiwan. THAI Smile’s Chiang Mai-Kaohsiung direct flight is expected to accommodate the tourism growth in Chiang Mai province and route expansion planned by THAI Smile in close collaboration with Thai Airways International.

Mrs. Charita Leelayudth, Chief Executive Officer of THAI Smile Airways, said that THAI Smile had adopted a strategy to expand international routes, particularly the routes to China and Taiwan, to facilitate Chinese and Taiwanese leisure and business travelers. So far, THAI Smile has opened a total of four routes in China including Bangkok-Zhengzhou, Bangkok-Chongqing, Bangkok-Changsha, and Bangkok-Kaohsiung which is a new travel destination for Thai people. We believe that this new route will help promote tourism and business between the two countries significantly.
