Thai Vietjet marked a historic moment in Thai aviation history today as it was the first airline to successfully kick off its operations from the newly inaugurated SAT-1 Terminal at Suvarnabhumi Airport for flight VZ620, bound for Singapore, took off from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) on September 28, 2023.
“We take immense pride in being the first airline to operate a scheduled commercial flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport’s SAT-1 Terminal. We believe this new terminal will greatly enhance the travel experience for both passengers and airlines, meeting the growing demand for travel with increased convenience” stated Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Vietjet.
Thai Vietjet’s flights from/to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Singapore, Vietnam and Taipei, divided into 2 inbound flights and 2 outbound flights, will be operated at SAT-1 Terminal during the first phase of opening with the following flight schedule;

Passengers arriving on the Singapore – Bangkok and Taipei – Bangkok flights will disembark at SAT-1 Terminal and utilize the designated inbound passenger lane to access the Main Terminal via the APM electric train. Whereas, passengers departing on flights from Bangkok to Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City can reach the boarding gate at SAT-1 Terminal by using the APM electric train, which connects to the main terminal every 3 minutes.
Suvarnabhumi Airport’s SAT-1 Terminal is a state-of-the-art, four-story architectural marvel in Thailand designed to accommodate the rising number of travelers. Covering 216,000 square meters, the terminal boasts 28 gates serving various destinations.

According to the soft opening of Suvarnabhumi’s SAT-1 Terminal, Thai Vietjet will be serving its passengers flying from/to Singapore and Vietnam with the new terminal for its passengers’ utmost convenience.
