“Beaches and Clubs” include beaches, pools, resorts and non-landed clubs.
According to the research:
- France, is the world’s best country for skinny dipping, with 397 nudist beaches and 212 naturist campsites. It even has an entire village, “Village Naturiste” in Cap d’Age, where clothing is totally optional.
- The United States is the world’s 2nd best skinny dipping country, offering 299 nudist friendly beaches with average water temperatures of 62.4˚F. It is also the number #1 country in the world for naturist campsites with 253 across the country including hotspots such as Florida and California.
- Thailand is the world’s 4th best country for skinny dipping, with a total of 21 nudist beaches and campsites. Thailand has the highest average annual temperature of all the countries featured in this study, as well as the highest average water temperature too, at 29.1˚C, and skinny dipping would be an awesome way to get respite from the warm weather.
- Interestingly, public nudity is only partially legal in 3 of the top 10 best countries for skinny dipping.
