The St. Regis Bangkok gets in the spirit of Songkran, celebrating family, fun, and togetherness with culinary experiences on 14 – 15 April 2021.
On Wednesday 14 April, a selection of auspicious Thai food is presented at the Songkran lunch buffet, including khao chae traditional chilled rice dish served with condiments, as well as deep-fried fish with three flavor sauce, Thai vermicelli with curry, stir-fried seafood with pepper sauce, and pad thai noodles with river prawn freshly prepared to order at a live cooking station.
The dessert selection at the Songkran lunch buffet also pays homage to Thai culinary traditions, with sweet temptations including shaved ice with condiments, coconut ice-cream with condiments, and royal Thai auspicious desserts, perfect to ring in the Thai New Year.
All diners at the Songkran lunch buffet also stand the chance to enter a lucky draw, with prizes including afternoon tea, set lunch, and Epic dinner, all for two guests.
On the next day, 15 April, The St. Regis Bangkok hosts a Songkran barbecue by the outdoor swimming pool on the 15th floor, overlooking the golf greens of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. From 3:00 – 7:00 PM, a live DJ keeps the atmosphere festive, while a sizzling barbecue grill serves up unlimited portions of chicken, prawn, lamb, and beef skewers.
Songkran barbecue party revelers can also enjoy flame-grilled pork rack with homemade Bourbon barbecue sauce, as well as mini burgers and a choice of grilled seafood including prawns, scallops, and squid.

The Songkran Lunch Buffet takes place from 12 noon – 3:00 PM on Wednesday, 14 April 2021 at The St. Regis Bangkok. On Thursday, 15 April 2021, the Songkran Barbecue Party is held by the pool from 3:00 – 7:00 PM.
